Race to Read 2014

WES students had a visit from 2 Thunder Road racecar drivers! The kids are very excited to participate in Race to Read this year! Go readers!

Heritage Projects!

4th graders have been busy researching a country from their heritage. Mark your calendars- our celebration is May 23rd from 1:15-2:30! See you there. 

Circuit Boards

Our culminating electricity project was engineering circuit boards this week. 4th graders needed to engineer the design, wiring, bulbs and test to make sure they were all closed working circuits. They all worked diligently and were independent problem solvers! 

Area and Perimeter

Students measured and taped given rectanglar dimensions. Today we will be finding the area and perimeter of the shapes! 

Ask your student the formula for finding the area and perimeter of rectangular shapes!
